MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST

Specialising in men's and women’s health, this urological practice seeks to add to their team a polite and professional receptionist to be the face of the practice, covering full-time hours. They will consider 1 full-time employee or 2 part-timers. The successful candidate(s) will understand the importance of confidentiality and possess a calm and pleasant demeanor.

Conveniently located in the medical precinct of Heidelberg – parking provided, or if you prefer, close to public transport (train and bus).

Days/hours: Monday and Friday – 8.30 am to 5.00 pm.

The principal responsibilities of the role will include:

Diary management

Run consulting sessions – greet patients, answer phones, make appointments

Follow up with the patient’s pre- and post-operative appointments

Liaise with GPS, other urologists and referring specialists

Patient billing: consulting accounts

EFTPOS, HIC online, Eclipse, Medicare, DVA

Paperless office

Use of Genie Medical software
