Your Role:
As a Property Officer, you will be responsible to the Operations Manager. You will manage a portfolio of mainstream and supported tenancies, ensuring properties are allocated, maintained, and managed in line with the Residential Tenancy Act 1987 (RTA), program requirements, our policies and the needs of our clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
Allocating homes: application processing, property viewings, offers of housing, in-going PCRs and signing up of new tenants.
Conducting property inspections and resolving tenancy/property issues.
Assisting in the sustainability of tenancies by being responsive to indicators that a tenant may be at risk and providing referrals to support and appropriate information and advice.
Liaising with external stakeholders such as state government departments and support agencies.
Reviewing and calculating rents.
Managing rental account arrears and other debts.
Managing end of tenancy processes, including vacancy maintenance, outgoing PCRs, vacated tenant accounts and former tenant debt recovery.
Ensuring properties are maintained in line with budgets and asset management plans.

Who We're Looking For:
You will have:
Minimum 1 years’ experience in tenancy and property management
Solid working knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act
Confidence working with people facing complex challenges
Excellent problem-solving and time management skills
Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders
A commitment to good record-keeping, compliance, and continuous improvement
A valid WA Driver’s Licence and a clear National Police Clearance
