Your New Role

The Teaching & Learning Administrator supports the Leader of Curriculum and the Leader of Learning and Teaching. This key role provides the planning and operational level of supporting learning and teaching activities of our school. In these matters, this position works closely with and is responsible to both the Leader of Teaching and Learning and the Leader of Curriculum. This position needs to be adaptable and able to cope with change and unexpected events as they arise. Additionally the Learning and Teaching Administrator communicates effectively for all stakeholders, uses discretion and judgement to plan and organise their work and the work of others, is able to problem solve and displays expertise to making decisions.

A School Administrative Services Offi cer at this level is one where that: exercises substantial responsibility, independent judgement and initiative with a detailed knowledge of complex offi ce procedures; has and uses advanced skills and knowledge in the operation of complex equipment and procedures; assists in planning future sectional/office-organisational or resources and equipment needs.

Salary: Level 5 $41.97 per hour - Averaged (doesn't work in school breaks)

Selection Criteria

Highly skilled and effective in all areas of communication

Experience in providing a high level of executive administrative support in a team environment inclusive of records maintenance and data entry

Understanding of and respect for the confi dentiality, privacy and dignity of all involved

Ability to use a range of technology in a variety of formats including managing student databases for learning

Understanding of NESA Curriculum and Learning requirements or a willingness to learn

Understanding of the requirements of Event management in a school setting and an ability to meet deadlines

Extremely professional in manner and able to work effectively as part of a team.

An ability to lead others at times in delegating priorities and working to deadlines in line with the School calendar

Demonstrated high level problem solving skills in regards to compliance, student enrolment into courses and termination information

Able to communicate effectively in a written and verbal capacity with a various range of stakeholders including drafting and handling correspondence, which may include confi dential information

Able to manage time effectively with a range of tasks and competing priorities

Able to provide exceptional customer service to Parents, Students and the community.

Able to work effectively under pressure in a team environment.

Essential Criteria

Certificate IV in Business Administration or three years equivalent experience in administration work.

NSW Working with Children Check

Drivers Licence

Successful candidate to undergo a National Criminal History Check

Accreditation for Support Staff in a Catholic School (Category A, Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead in Systemic Catholic Schools, Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga) or willing to achieve.
