Western Sydney Airport is building more than just runways and terminals: they’re also standing up a state-of-the-art Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system to support operations from day one. As part of the project, they need a detail-oriented Junior Data Assistant to help prepare critical maintenance data for upload.

About your new role!
In this role, you’ll support the data team by extracting and formatting asset maintenance information from contractor documents into pre-defined Excel templates. While you’ll be working closely with experienced data specialists, you’ll also need the confidence to question anything that doesn’t look right.
Key tasks for this role include:

• Extracting approx. 6 fields per record from Excel and PDF documents
• Formatting and transposing data into structured templates
• Using Excel filters and basic formulas to organise and clean data
• Supporting data accuracy checks and quality assurance
• Collaborating with the asset management team to meet deadlines

About You!
We’re looking for someone with:

• Good Excel skills (filters, basic formulas, transposing)
• High attention to detail and willingness to ask questions
• Exposure to asset data or operations is an advantage
• Ability to work onsite full-time at the WSI airport site in Luddenham.
• Who can start in September.

Role Title: Data Assistant (Junior Level)
Contract Length: 4 weeks (early or mid September start)
Pay: $450–$550 per day + Super
Location: Eaton Road, Luddenham site, parking available (5 days onsite)
