Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and menu specifications

Ensure food quality and presentation meet high standards

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and cooking equipment

Assist in the planning and execution of menus and special events

Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed

Follow food safety and sanitation procedures in compliance with regulations

Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service

Assist with training and supervising junior kitchen staff when required

Qualifications & Skills:

Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant, catering service, or similar setting

Knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and food safety procedures

Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a high-volume environment

Excellent attention to detail and a passion for quality food

Strong teamwork and communication skills

Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle heavy lifting
