We are seeking a dynamic People and Culture Coordinator to join our Corporate and Regulatory Services Division on a 12-month full-time fixed-term contract.

About the Role: As the People and Culture Coordinator, you will lead initiatives that enhance our employee value proposition, optimise service delivery, and strengthen our reputation with employees and the community. ​ You will focus on workforce planning, talent attraction and retention, employee well-being, safety, organisational development, and employee relations. ​ This role is pivotal in supporting leaders and managers to develop employee skills and embed our organisational culture and values. ​

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and inspire a high-performance team culture

Develop and implement effective people strategies, policies, and programs

Drive a safety-first culture and oversee Work Health and Safety programs ​

Coordinate continuous improvement initiatives and business system enhancements ​

Provide expert advice on grievances, investigations, and workplace relations matters

What We’re Looking For:

Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business Management, or extensive industry experience

Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop teams

Knowledge of business improvement concepts

Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills ​

Proven ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organisation. ​

Local Government experience is desirable ​
