Workfast is seeking experienced 4t Manitou / Telehandler Operators to join the early stages of a major rail and civil infrastructure project in the Cootamundra region, just north of Wagga Wagga, NSW.

Pay Rate: $38.50p/hr + Overtime + Super
Location: Cootamundra / Junee region, NSW
Hours: 6:00am start, 10 hour shifts
Start Date: ASAP

This is a long-term opportunity on a large-scale Tier 1 infrastructure program delivering over 35km of new rail and civil works. The project includes bulk earthworks, drainage, road realignments, and rail corridor construction — with up to 2 years of work on offer.

What You Will Be Doing:

Operating telehandler to move equipment, tools, and materials

Assisting with site deliveries and laydown area organisation

Working around trades, plant operators, and civil crews

Performing labouring duties as required between tasks

Conducting pre-start checks and basic machine maintenance

Supporting safe and efficient operations across the work zone

What You Need:

Construction White Card

Telehandler ticket (Gold Card)

Driver’s Licence

RIW Card - Bonus

Reliable transport to and from site

Previous experience operating telehandlers on civil sites

Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen

Safety-first attitude and strong teamwork skills
