Workfast is seeking experienced Telehandler Operators to join the early stages of a major rail and civil infrastructure project in the Cootamundra region, just north of Wagga Wagga, NSW.

Pay Rate: $38.50p/hr + Overtime + Super
Location: Cootamundra / Junee region, NSW
Hours: 6:00am start, 10 hour shifts
Start Date: ASAP

This is a long-term opportunity on a large-scale Tier 1 infrastructure program delivering over 35km of new rail and civil works. The project includes bulk earthworks, drainage, road realignments, and rail corridor construction — with up to 2 years of work on offer.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Operating telehandler to move equipment, tools, and materials
• Assisting with site deliveries and laydown area organisation
• Working around trades, plant operators, and civil crews
• Performing labouring duties as required between tasks
• Conducting pre-start checks and basic machine maintenance
• Supporting safe and efficient operations across the work zone
  
  

What You Need:

• Construction White Card
• Telehandler ticket (Gold Card)
• Driver’s Licence
• RIW Card - Bonus
• Reliable transport to and from site
• Previous experience operating telehandlers on civil sites
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
• Safety-first attitude and strong teamwork skills
