Client Services Manager – Boutique CBD Financial Planning Firm

We are seeking an experienced Advice Client Services Implementation Specialist who has worked directly in financial planning practices, supporting advisers with the preparation and implementation of advice. This role is not suitable for candidates from banking, mortgage broking, or other financial services sectors.
Must-Have Criteria (listed clearly):
Minimum 2 years’ recent experience in a financial planning practice
Direct involvement in preparing and implementing Statements of Advice (SOAs)
Strong understanding of the end-to-end advice process
Proficiency in Xplan/ Advice platforms

The Role
We are seeking an experienced Client Services Manager to take ownership of advice implementation and provide high-level administrative support. You will be a key part of the client experience, ensuring the advice process runs seamlessly from start to finish.
This is a full-time, permanent role, ideally office-based five days a week to foster team collaboration and client service excellence. Flexibility to work from home on occasion can be arranged when the adviser is travelling.
All applicants must have full work rights for Australia (PR or Citizenship) and must have experience working with financial planners on the advice process / Implementation.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end advice implementation process
Prepare and lodge applications, forms, and supporting documents
Liaise with clients, product providers, and internal stakeholders
Maintain accurate records in CRM and ensure compliance requirements are met
Support the Practice Principal and Associate Adviser with day-to-day administrative needs
About You
Essential: Demonstrated experience in financial advice administration and implementation
Highly organised, with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
Strong communication skills and a professional, client-focused approach
Preferred: Diploma/Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning or RG146 compliant
Able to thrive in a small, collaborative team environment
