Monday to Friday, 72.5 hours per fortnight, 9 day fortnight
$78,853-$84,329 per annum (LGIA Stream A Level 2) + Superannuation

Your new role
Are you a reliable and organised administrator who enjoys working with spreadsheets, systems, and keeping things on track?
The Training and Development team is looking for a detail-oriented Administration Officer to support the coordination of training and compliance activities across Council. You’ll be the first point of contact for training enquiries and play a key role in managing bookings, maintaining records, and supporting internal systems.
This role suits someone who is confident using Microsoft Office, enjoys working with data, and takes pride in keeping things organised and accurate. You’ll work closely with internal teams and external training providers to ensure training runs smoothly and records are up to date.
Your responsibilities will include coordinating training bookings, venues, and resources; managing training calendars, waitlists, and rescheduling; monitoring and updating records in Beakon, Aurion, and ECM; supporting compliance processes including licence applications and funding documentation; and handling financial tasks such as invoice checks, purchase orders, and payment reconciliation.
This position requires the completion of a satisfactory Criminal History Check - Police Certificate (Australia Wide Name Only Police Check).

Application Criteria
Experience providing administration support with strong customer service skills.
Time management skills with the ability to multitask and manage conflicting deadlines.
Demonstrated ability in administrative tasks such as maintaining records, data entry and proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office is necessary.
Experience or confidence in reviewing invoices, raising purchase orders, and reconciling payments is highly desirable.
