Australian Ground Technologies (AGT) is a privately owned businesses providing an extensive range of ground retention and complex engineering solutions for the civil, rail, tunnelling, and infrastructure construction industries – based in Sydney and servicing NSW, ACT & Hunter Region. We are currently seeking a motivated individual with strong accounting skills and a passion for numbers to support our finance operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform day-to-day bookkeeping duties including accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations on Xero

Maintain accurate financial records and reports

Process payroll and superannuation

Assist with BAS, GST and other regulatory compliance

Liaise with clients, suppliers and external stakeholders as needed

Requirements:

Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting

Proficiency with Xero 1 year minimum

Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
