The Role

We're looking for an Experienced Accountant with 3–6 years in public practice who’s ready to go beyond compliance and grow into a well-rounded business advisor.

You’ll work with clients across a range of industries, supported by a high-performing team that values both rigour and creativity. This is the perfect role for someone who is technically strong, curious, and wants to fast-track their exposure to advisory work.

What You’ll Be Doing

Compliance & Tax

Preparation of tax returns, BAS, GST and financial statements for SMEs, trusts, companies, and individuals.

Reviewing reconciliations, year-end workpapers, and tax planning strategies.

Advisory & Business Strategy

Support senior advisors with business structuring, financial modelling, forecasting, and strategic planning.

Assist in restructuring advice, capital gains planning, and succession strategies.

Get hands-on experience with value-add services that make a real difference to clients.

Client Management

Build relationships with clients and become their go-to for insightful, solution-focused advice.

Collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver a seamless client experience.

Technology & Workflow

Leverage Xero, Xero Tax, MYOB and QuickBooks to streamline processes and deliver insights faster.

Contribute to workflow improvements and modern accounting practices.

About You

3–6 years’ experience in Business Services / Public Practice.

CA or CPA qualified (or working towards).

Strong technical grounding in SME compliance and tax.

Experience with FBT or SMSF compliance would be valued but not essential

Great communication skills – you’re proactive, personable, and love solving problems.

Experience with Xero is essential. Bonus points for MYOB & QuickBooks exposure.

A keen interest in advisory work and developing commercial acumen.
