We are offering a permanent full-time position of with a competitive salary package of $60,000 – $90,000 per annum plus superannuation, depending on experience.

The Role

We are seeking a dedicated an Accountant to join our dynamic and supportive team. This opportunity is ideal for professionals with a background in management and tax accounting who want to transition into a broader client-focused accounting and advisory role.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals

Assist with business activity statements (BAS), FBT returns, and other compliance requirements

Attend client meetings with the Director and support client relationship management

Analyse client financial records and provide insights to improve financial outcomes

Identify and evaluate accounting or internal control issues

Maintain clear, well-documented workpapers and reconciliations for all engagements

Support workflow planning and time management across client portfolios

Use professional judgment to assess financial data and assist with advisory services

We prefer the candidate who possesses:

A degree in Accounting or a related field

Strong financial literacy, critical thinking, and client communication skills

Confidence working independently and as part of a team, with a keen interest to grow with the firm

Exposure to reviewing financial records, identifying risks, and reporting findings Beneficial qualifications:

Experience with accounting software such as Xero, or SAP, Pinnacle

Experience in preparing financial statements and reports
