The Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you’ll work closely with development and project teams, providing expert financial insight to guide decision-making. You’ll be responsible for management reporting, financial modelling, statutory accounts, tax compliance, and commercial support, as well as managing project financing and debt facilities. The key responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following.

• Partner with key operational stakeholders to help drive performance
• Deliver accurate and timely financial reports with detailed analysis and commentary
• Develop annual business plan forecasts and maintain project financial models.
• Provide commercial and analytical support for project feasibility, approvals, and negotiations.
• Manage project financing, debt covenants, and facility documentation
• Oversee statutory accounts, tax returns, and compliance tasks (BAS, reconciliations, settlements)
• Ad hoc support and reporting as required by the Finance Controller

The Candidate

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• 7+ years’ management accounting experience, ideally with property industry exposure.
• Degree in Accounting (CPA or CA qualified).
• Advanced Excel skills and strong knowledge of AIFRS and Australian taxation.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Experience in debt financing and property law/taxes advantageous.
