The role of Finance Manager reports to the CFO and plays a key leadership role in overseeing the financial operations, strategy and performance of the business.

About the Role…

This is a varied and interesting role, focused on overall business finances, as well as specific project financials. Key responsibilities include:

Financial management & reporting including P&L’s, balance sheet and cashflow

Budgeting and forecasting, including project specific financial planning

Project and Job costing including monitoring financial performance of construction projects

Cash flow and treasury, including identifying and mitigating cash flow risks and advising on funding strategies

Inventory management

Compliance and Risk Management, including all statutory, tax and regulatory obligations

Lead and mentor the finance team and oversee day to day office operations

Work closely with our external accountants

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have:

A tertiary qualification in accounting, finance or related discipline

CPA, CA or equivalent professional accounting certification

A minimum of 5 years’ experience in finance or accounting

While not essential, a background in construction or project based industries is ideal

Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting

Strong excel and financial modelling capabilities

Solid background in cashflow and financial compliance management
