About the Role

Reporting to the Senior Commercial & Contracts Manager, you’ll provide financial and technical support to ensure accurate, transparent, and compliant project accounting. You will develop and manage internal financial reporting systems, support external funding claims, and partner with project managers, contractors, and funding bodies to keep the project on track financially.

Key Responsibilities

Manage project financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting in TechnologyOne.

Prepare reconciliations, earned value methodology (EVM) reports, and subsidiary ledger reviews.

Oversee State and Commonwealth funding claim processes and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.

Develop and enhance financial systems and processes for efficiency and accuracy.

Support the project team with timely and accurate financial insights.

About You

Degree qualifications in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or IT (or significant relevant experience).

Strong knowledge of financial systems and corporate accounting processes.

Experience with project accounting and government funding compliance.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.

A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to work independently.

Desirable: CPA/CA/IPA membership, local government accounting experience, and familiarity with TechnologyOne.
