Position Overview:

As a Luxxe Group Employee, you will be responsible for applying paint to the highest standard, to a wide range of surfaces. Your duties will include preparing surfaces, selecting appropriate paints and tools, and applying finishes using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment. You will work closely with our clients, ensuring their specific requirements are met, while maintaining the highest quality standards. Your role will involve both interior and exterior painting of residential homes, as well as large-scale industrial projects.

Supervisors role and description will require managing various projects, ordering paints and liaising with Project managers and Director.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and patching holes or cracks.
• Select and mix paints, primers, or varnishes to achieve the desired color and texture.
• Apply paints, varnishes, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Cover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape to protect adjacent areas from paint splatters.
• Fill cracks and holes with appropriate materials and ensure a smooth and even finish.
• Follow safety guidelines and use protective equipment when necessary.
• Work efficiently to meet project deadlines and maintain high-quality standards.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their painting requirements and provide excellent customer service.

Requirements:

• EWP ticket not compulsory but would be advantageous
• Proven experience as a painter.
• In-depth knowledge of painting techniques, materials, and tools.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver precise, clean finishes.
• Excellent color perception and matching skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Physical stamina and ability to work at heights or in confined spaces if required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Relevant certifications or trade qualifications are desirable.
