About the role
To assist with the growth of our city, we are currently seeking skilled and enthusiastic individuals to maintain our open space areas including parks and gardens.
If you enjoy working outdoors and have experience in turf and garden care, these roles could be a perfect fit for you.
We have multiple new positions available including:
Leading Hand: You will lead a team to undertake turf and garden maintenance within parks, gardens and open spaces. You will be self motivated working with limited supervision and provide direction to your crew to ensure work is done to a high standard and on time.
Field Worker A: Bring your horticulture skills to the team to undertake detailed maintenance of garden and turf areas in the many parks and reserves across the city. Manual labour is a key component of the role as you will assist with minor landscaping works, operate machinery and have a hands on approach to maintaining outdoor spaces for the community to enjoy.

About you
To be successful in these roles, you will have:
- Current C Class Driver Licence
- Current QLD ACDC Licence or be able to obtain within 6 months of appointment
- General Safety Induction (Construction Industry) Card
- Q Fever immunisation will be required upon commencement
- Current MR Class Driver Licence is desirable
- Experience in maintaining green spaces highly desirable
- Experience in leading a team (Leading Hand position)

About the benefits
These are permanent full-time positions, with a salary between $68,049 and $74,110 plus 12.5% superannuation.
