Are you a talented chef who loves creating seasonal, farm-to-table dishes in a fast-paced, good-humoured kitchen? Fairhill’s award-winning Café & Licensed Restaurant is looking for a Full-Time Chef to join our vibrant team in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.

Our F&B is part of a unique destination – Nature’s Playground and Gardeners’ Paradise, featuring our iconic native plant nursery, botanical gardens, farm shop & gallery – where happiness is in our nature.

At Fairhill, we serve fresh, wholesome food featuring local produce, including pasture-raised meats and seasonal garden ingredients from our own regenerative farm.

What You’ll Do:

Work closely with our Chef Manager to plan and execute a seasonal menu with local flair, including for events, using farm-to-table produce from our own regenerative farm

Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen in line with food safety standards

Support a positive, collaborative kitchen culture with a focus on consistency and efficiency – angry chefs need not apply!

What We’re Looking For:

Commercial cookery qualification (Cert III or higher) or proven equivalent experience

Previous café, restaurant, or function cooking experience

Passion for seasonal, locally-sourced food and high-quality presentation

Reliability, excellent communication, and a positive team attitude

Availability to work weekdays, weekends, and occasional evenings for events
