About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Sexual Violence Counsellor to support survivors on their healing journey. This role involves delivering trauma-informed counselling, advocacy, case management and community education to help shift societal norms and empower individuals aged 12 and over.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide life-changing, trauma-informed counselling and support to survivors.

Conduct risk assessments and safety planning to prioritise wellbeing.

Advocate for survivor rights through integrated service delivery.

Facilitate outreach and community education to drive awareness and change.

Work within a collaborative, feminist-informed team dedicated to ending violence.

About You:

Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, or a related field.

Experience in trauma-informed counselling and case management.

Strong understanding of gender-based violence.

Excellent communication skills, with experience in both individual counselling and group work.

Current Driver’s License, Blue Card, and Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
