About the role
Due to continuing growth in student numbers and electrical training requirements we are currently seeking candidates with experience and expertise in Electrical trades to plan, develop and deliver training and assessment to students.
The lecturer’s primary role is to teach, facilitate learning, and assess students in accordance with relevant training package requirements. Lecturers also undertake Professional Activities and Activities Related to Delivery. In order to maintain quality educational services, lecturers are required to keep abreast of technological and other developments in their field through professional development to provide up-to-date information and advice to the CSTA and industry, where appropriate.
Relevant Qualification
To be eligible for employment you must hold or have held an WA Electrical Workers License – Unrestricted.
Lecturers are required to hold the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116, or TAE40110 and the additional skill sets referred to in Schedule 1, Item 2 of the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015. You are still eligible to apply if you do not yet hold these credentials but we will require you to obtain the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 prior to appointment, irrespective of holding other adult education qualifications.
