The Person:

This role suits either an an older electrician looking for a less physically demanding role or a 1st year out new sparky looking for an opportunity to learn new skills outside of wiring up domestic houses. You don't need smoke alarm experience as we will train you on all aspects of the role so please apply regardless of your past work history. A current electrical licence is a must though.

The Details:

Due to growth we are looking for an additional Electrician to install smoke alarms and general electrical maintenance ( faults, GPO's, switches etc ) who is a motivated and skilled electrical tradesperson that takes pride in their work. You will be working solo in your own company provided van performing smoke alarm installations and electrical maintenance work between Brisbane and Caboolture. Ideal is a Brisbane North or Caboolture surrounds home base but we are open to consider applicants anywhere in SE QLD.

The overview of the role:

Installing smoke alarms with precision, in alignment with relevant safety codes and regulations.

General domestic and small commercial electrical maintenance ( GPO, lights, fans, switches etc )

Conducting comprehensive inspections of existing smoke alarm systems to ensure operational efficiency.

Diagnosing and resolving any technical issues related to smoke alarms, safety switches, fault finding.

Engaging with homeowners to educate them about the critical importance of smoke alarms and safety switches.

Electrical Workers Licence Queensland

Queensland Drivers licence

Clear National Police Check
