About the role:

This is an exciting role for a dynamic, well-motivated, career hospitality manager with a professional mindset and strong work ethic.

We are looking for an experienced individual who can integrate into our well-established team and work with the owners to continue to move the business forward with new ideas and a fresh outlook.

You will be expected to oversee all aspects of running the business from rosters, staff on-boarding and training, stock management, bookings and event coordination, BOH accounting integration, and to be involved with strategic implementation of marketing, advertising and customer engagement.

As the Venue Manager, you will be required to lead from the front, maintaining the highest standards of customer interaction and venue presentation. You will be expected to have a superior knowledge of food and beverages, and ensure our clients leave having had an unforgettable and enjoyable experience at Fenway.

Skills Required:

- Be proficient in all aspects of restaurant, bar and function operations with extensive food, wine, coffee and cocktail knowledge

- You will need to be currently residing in Australia and legally able to work full-time hours.

- Availability Wednesday to Saturday all evenings will be essential to securing the role.

- Have at least 2 years of experience in a similar hospitality management role

- Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills

- Effective problem solving abilities

- Strong leadership and management skills

- Ability to maintain a high level of service when under pressure

- Knowledge of Microsoft office packages and experience with Tanda and Xero would be advantageous.

- Have the ability to think laterally and out of the box at any given moment

- Current ACT Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate and Drivers Licence
