About the role
This role is at the heart of Falcon’s daily operations – responsible for ensuring all labour requirements are met for upcoming and active projects. You’ll manage crew allocation, assist with recruitment and onboarding, and act as the central point of contact for the crew, project teams, and clients.
You’ll also handle basic HR support for the crane crew, including responding to day-to-day queries, maintaining qualification records, and ensuring onboarding and compliance requirements are met. The crew will regularly engage with you to resolve scheduling, HR, and operational queries.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will:
Plan and publish weekly staff rosters in Employment Hero
Manage daily workforce changes, project demands, and client needs
Ensure sufficient crew availability across all projects through proactive planning
Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and employee setup across systems
Act as the key contact for crane crew HR queries and support
Maintain up-to-date records of licences, tickets, qualifications, and compliance
Reconcile timesheets and rosters to support timely payroll and invoicing
Communicate clearly with site managers, crew, and clients
Provide general admin support to projects and management
About you
You’ll be a confident multitasker with a calm and solutions-focused approach. Ideally, you will also have:
Proven experience in rostering, workforce planning, or labour coordination
Previous experience in the crane industry or construction sector (highly regarded)
Basic HR experience or understanding of onboarding and employee support (advantageous)
Strong admin and systems skills – Employment Hero experience a bonus
Excellent communication, attention to detail, and ability to self-manage
A proactive mindset and the ability to build strong relationships with crew and clients
