About the Role:

As a Multi-site Horticultural Team Leader, you’ll ensure Morrison’s Gardens’ clients enjoy pristine outdoor spaces. Your responsibilities will include:

Hands-on Horticulture & Gardening – Planting, pruning, mulching, fertilising, and maintaining lawns (mowing, edging, aerating).

Team Leadership & Coaching – Setting clear expectations, delegating tasks, providing on-the-job coaching, and ensuring your team consistently meets quality standards.

Pest & Disease Control – Identifying/treating plant issues (chemical certification a plus).

Machinery Operation – Safely using mowers, hedge trimmers, blowers, and irrigation systems; training team members on correct and safe use.

Landscape Maintenance – Caring for garden beds, trees, pathways, and hardscapes.

Site Travel & Cleanup – Driving between client locations in a fully maintained company vehicle (take-home option available*, see note) and clearing debris.

What You Bring:

Leadership Experience: Proven experience supervising or leading a team of horticulturists, gardeners, or landscapers, ideally across multiple sites.

Coaching Skills: Ability to train, mentor, and motivate team members to achieve high standards of work.

Horticultural Expertise: 4+ years in horticulture, landscaping, or gardening (qualifications helpful but not essential).

Skills: Plant care knowledge, machinery operation, and chemical handling (ideal but not mandatory).

Physical Fitness: Ability to lift 20kg+, work in all weather, and stay active all day.

License: Valid Australian driver’s license (must have secure parking if approved to take the vehicle home*).

Attitude: Reliable, proactive, and passionate about creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces.
