Can-Do Albany provides a range of disability support services for children and young adults. We are seeking to employ a person who has the capacity to provide both general personal care, community connections, and family household support for young people who have high level needs - and general mentoring for a broader client group. Applicants would need to be able to demonstrate personal attributes such as consistency, compassion, empathy, initiative and flexibility. The position is permanent part-time totalling 25 to 30 hours weekly. Weekly rosters can often include early evening finishes and weekend work. Training is provided related to personal care and health related tasks, and general mentoring approaches. A current driver's licence is essential as is the capacity for a Working with Children Check Card.
