About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated and customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our flooring retail team. In this role, you’ll assist customers in selecting flooring products, provide expert advice, and support the day-to-day operations of the showroom.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment and is passionate about delivering excellent service.

Key Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers in the showroom

Provide advice on flooring products (carpet, vinyl, timber, hybrid, laminate, etc.)

Prepare quotes and invoices

Assist with showroom presentation and product displays

Handle phone and email enquiries

Process sales transactions and coordinate deliveries or installations

Maintain product knowledge and keep up to date with new arrivals

General administrative and retail support as needed

About You

Previous retail or customer service experience (flooring or home improvement is a bonus)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to learn product specifications and explain them clearly to customers

Confident using point-of-sale systems and basic computer programs

Well-presented, reliable, and punctual

Ability to work as part of a team and independently
