Capital Socks was established by Evi & Emma in 2019 with a simple purpose - to brighten your day with fun socks that truly express your style. We struggled to find affordable, high-quality socks which were not only colourful and fun, but reflected our unique surroundings. From this simple need Capital Socks was born. We’re passionate about creating experiences and have teamed up with local artists to bring you socks that showcase our culture and community.

The opportunity

We are seeking 10 enthusiastic Casual Retail Assistants for Father's Day, Floriade and Christmas in Canberra.

This casual role is the perfect opportunity to gain valuable experience in the retail industry and contribute to the success of our business during the busy holiday season.

Key responsibilities

Providing exceptional customer service and product knowledge to ensure a positive shopping experience for our customers

Assisting with stock management, replenishment, and merchandising of our products

Operating the till and cash handling procedures

Maintaining a clean and well-presented store environment

Supporting the store team with other duties as required

Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of presentation

Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends, during the Christmas period
