🌟 About the Role

You’ll be working with small to medium-sized business clients and investment clients, preparing high-quality compliance work and reviewing smaller jobs prepared by juniors or offshore staff. You’ll have the independence to manage your own client files while knowing when to collaborate with the team.

Your day-to-day might include:

Preparing tax returns, BAS/IAS, and financial statements

Managing workpapers and full client files with minimal supervision

Reviewing basic jobs prepared by juniors or offshore staff

Handling technical areas such as CGT, Division 7A, and FBT

Communicating clearly and professionally with clients

Embracing technology and cloud-based processes to drive efficiency

✅ About You

We’re looking for someone with:

2–4 years of Australian public practice experience

Strong technical skills in compliance work

Exposure to investment clients and small business clients

Experience (or at minimum exposure) with CGT calculations, Division 7A, and FBT compliance

Experience reviewing smaller jobs or supervising offshore staff (e.g. Philippines teams) is a plus

Progress toward CA or CPA (desirable but not essential)

Proficiency with Xero (other cloud tools a bonus)

Solid organisational skills and reliability under deadlines

Excellent communication skills and a team-first mindset
