Secondary Teachers – Full-Time or Part-Time, 2026

Compass Independent School is a vibrant, growing learning community now in its third year of operation. Located on the QUT Kelvin Grove campus, Compass is a unique P–10 school that offers a rich educational program through a blend of indoor and outdoor learning.

As we expand in 2026, we are seeking dedicated, passionate and skilled teachers to join our team.

The role: We’re on the lookout for innovative teachers ready to rethink what school can be. You might be:

an experienced secondary teacher or upper primary teacher

Looking for full-time or part-time work

Ready to work across Years 7–10 in a collaborative multiage environment

You’ll need to:

· Coach individual young people to lead their personal learning inquiries

· Guide small teams to explore powerful questions together

· Support whole-school inquiry projects that matter

· Design and curate engaging learning materials

· Be hands-on, experiential and inquiry-first in your approach

· Know when to zoom in for targeted and focussed teaching

· Be across the admin and a confident communicator and organiser

We’re open to:

One full-time generalist teacher (excluding Languages) or

Two part-time teachers (3 days each): one with strengths in English/Humanities and the other in Maths/Sciences
