About The Firm

Join a busy and growing plaintiff firm acting for individuals, SMEs, and commercial clients in contested debt recovery matters. This is a key role for an experienced solicitor who can run files end-to-end and execute recovery strategies through to enforcement.

The Opportunity

• Manage a diverse caseload of debt recovery matters

• Advise on and implement effective recovery strategies

• Draft pleadings, demands, statutory notices, and enforcement documents

• Conduct litigation where required (including defended proceedings)

• Run enforcement processes such as garnishees, writs, and insolvency actions

• Maintain strong client communication and manage expectations

• Opportunity to supervise junior lawyers/paralegals if desired

About You

• At least 5 years’ post-admission experience in debt recovery and enforcement

• Sound knowledge of litigation and enforcement processes in QLD

• Strong drafting skills and confidence handling matters independently

• A commercial mindset and ability to assess recovery prospects early

• Plaintiff-side experience preferred but not essential
