• Full-time role with immediate start in Dandenong South
• $85,000 - $105,000 depending on experience + overtime

Many team members have remained with the company for more than a decade,

and you’ll be working with a variety of timber window and door systems i.e., awnings, casements, double hung, sliding, stacking, hinged & lift-slide.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Set-out of Australian-style or European timber window and door systems
• Docking: cutting timber to specific lengths for timber windows and doors
• Trenching: cutting grooves, slots, or notches into the timber
• Preparation of components for production to have components ready for final assembly
• Operation of spindle moulders to shape the edges or profiles of timber
• Thicknessers to makes timber a uniform thickness and smooths the surface
• General workshop machinery and tools or machines for timber window workshop
• Forklift operation, including unloading, stacking, and stock control
• Ensuring all safety and quality standards are consistently met

Experience and Qualifications

• Proven experience in timber window and door joinery, carpentry, or cabinet making
• Previous set-out experience in a manufacturing or workshop setting
• A current forklift licence (essential) with an understanding of workplace safety practices
• Physical fitness, with the ability to regularly lift up to 25kg
• Friendly, team-oriented attitude who is reliable and self-motivated

This role can suit a Set-Out Joiner, Set-Out Carpenter, Joinery Set-Out Technician, Timber Joinery Set-Out Specialist, Set-Out Draftsperson (Joinery), Manufacturing Set-Out Joiner, CAD Joinery Technician (if using CAD software for set-out), Joinery Production Set-Out Coordinator, Workshop Set-Out Technician or Timber Fabrication Set-Out Specialist.
