MPDT is a fast-growing vegetation management company, specialising in Arboriculture and power line vegetation management.

MPDT is on the hunt for a hardworking, versatile Excavator Operator to join our Cairns Tree Team.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Operating excavators and other machinery in tree removal and vegetation management

Feeding chippers, handling chainsaws, and assisting with ground crew tasks

Supporting arborists and utility teams in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment

What We’re Looking For:

Proven experience operating excavators (ticketed preferred)

Willingness to jump in and help with all aspects of the job – no task too big or small

Physically fit, reliable, and ready to work in all conditions

A strong team player with a great attitude, safety-first mindset and looks after machinery.

Valid truck license

White card

Prior experience with trees a bonus but not necessary

Mechanically minded for basic breakdowns/ maintenance
