What you will be doing

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Regulatory Compliance, the Manager, Election Compliance will:

Lead the planning, delivery and evaluation of statewide election compliance operations for major election events.

Oversee the recruitment, training and coordination of a large compliance workforce, including investigators, supervisors and coordinators.

Develop and embed systems, tools and procedures for triaging, referring and resolving compliance matters across VEC's field and command centre operations.

Provide strategic advice and leadership to ensure compliance approaches align with legislation, investigative frameworks, and regulatory best practice.

Manage day-to-day engagement with key stakeholders including other regulators, local councils and integrity bodies

What you will bring to the role

Proven experience in regulatory operations, including interpreting and applying legislation in complex investigative settings.

Demonstrated success delivering large-scale operational programs across distributed or fast-paced environments.

Outstanding stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to lead compliance teams under pressure.

Strong analytical and reporting abilities to support real-time decision making.
