Our client is seeking a highly skilled User Experience (UX) Designer to lead and contribute to the design of innovative, user-centered digital products. In this role, you will own outcomes for a mature project, complex program, or emerging product area—solving challenging problems with limited precedent, and defining long-term UX and product strategies.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, product managers, and fellow designers, to deliver high-quality, scalable design solutions. Your responsibilities will include anticipating user needs, resolving design constraints, guiding the implementation of design systems, and advocating for holistic, inclusive user experiences. The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic environments and has deep experience delivering production-ready designs for mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead UX design efforts across one or more key initiatives.
• Partner with engineers to communicate and implement design specifications, mockups, and prototypes.
• Drive improvements in design through usability testing, user research, and stakeholder feedback.
• Evaluate and apply data and user insights to inform design decisions and product strategies.
• Define and maintain design systems, frameworks, and best practices across platforms.
• Anticipate and mitigate potential risks or user harm through ethical and inclusive design thinking.
• Facilitate alignment across teams and advocate for the design vision with internal stakeholders.
• Mentor junior designers and promote design excellence within the broader team. Create user journeys, wireframes, visual designs, and prototypes using tools like Figma.
• Align design work with business objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).

Skills

• Proven experience in UX design for mobile applications (iOS and Android).
• Strong proficiency with Figma, prototyping tools, and visual design systems.
• Experience in large-scale or matrixed organizations is preferred.
• Solid understanding of user research methods and data analysis for UX.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with product managers and engineers. Strong storytelling and presentation skills to communicate design rationale.
• Systems thinking with the ability to scale and maintain design solutions.
• Deep understanding of accessibility standards and UX best practices.
• Experience across the full product development lifecycle.

Your Profile

• Experience leading the implementation of a design system or design language. Background in app design and mobile-first user experiences.
• Ability to balance short-term delivery with long-term product vision.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools.
