We are currently seeking a full-time Design & Audio Visual Team Member to join our team. This role also includes after-hours support on a rotating roster.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity for a creative, technically skilled, and community-minded individual. You will be responsible for producing visual tributes and printed materials for funeral services, while also supporting the company’s broader communications through marketing, advertising, and website management.

Key Responsibilities

Design & AV Support

Create and produce service sheets, slideshows, and other visual materials for services

Meet with families to discuss and interpret their design and AV needs with empathy and professionalism

Operate AV equipment and manage media at service venues

Maintain high standards of accuracy and quality in all design work

Marketing & Communications

Develop and manage digital and print advertising for the business

Design and schedule marketing content (social media, google presence, forms for families, etc.)

Maintain and update the company website, ensuring content is current, accurate, and aligned with brand values

Assist in brand development and communications strategy

Client & Office Support

Welcome clients and visitors with warmth and professionalism

Respond to enquiries via phone and email with a high level of customer service

Work collaboratively and independently, often under pressure or tight timeframes

Required Skills & Experience

Strong design skills with proficiency in tools such as Photoshop, Canva, InDesign, or equivalent

Experience in managing marketing campaigns across print and digital platforms

Basic website management experience (e.g., WordPress or similar platforms)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

High attention to detail, with the ability to self-proof work

Well-developed organisational and time management skills

Confident working in emotionally sensitive environments and maintaining confidentiality

A professional appearance and a caring, respectful attitude
