The Opportunity
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Inclusion and Wellbeing Leader to join our team in a permanent, full-time role (1.0 FTE) commencing in Term 1, 2026. This role includes a 0.4 FTE teaching component and provides the opportunity to lead and innovate in student wellbeing, learning support and enrichment across Reception to Year 9.
This position is ideal for an educational leader who thrives in collaborative environments, is committed to inclusive education and wellbeing, and seeks to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students, staff and families.
What You’ll Do
Lead and coordinate inclusive education and wellbeing programs
Support staff in differentiating teaching practices and developing IEPs
Oversee enrichment and learning support strategies for students with diverse needs
Collaborate with leadership and teaching teams to foster an inclusive, respectful and safe learning environment
Model and promote contemporary best practice in wellbeing and inclusion
Provide mentoring and professional learning opportunities for staff
Teach 0.4 FTE and actively support classroom and school-wide practices
Oversee NCCD data collection, testing and reporting requirements
Liaise with families, external professionals and community organisations
About You
You are a dynamic and compassionate educator with a proven track record in inclusion, wellbeing, or learning support. You bring a strong understanding of current wellbeing practices, are an inspiring communicator, and have the confidence to lead, coach and collaborate.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Education (or higher)
Current SA Teacher Registration
Proven leadership and classroom experience
Current First Aid, RRHAN-EC, Protective Practices, Working With Children Check
Sound knowledge of NCCD compliance and student wellbeing frameworks
Willingness to undertake Montessori training
Highly Desirable
Qualifications in Inclusive Education or Student Wellbeing
Knowledge or experience in Montessori pedagogy
Interest in innovative strategies and educational technologies
