About the role
Emergent Designs' is looking for a Factory Hand / Panel Saw Operator to join our team in Rosebery, NSW. This is a casual role, offering flexible work arrangements to meet your needs. This is a casual 3-5 day role with an opportunity to go Permanent Full-time. As a Factory Hand you will assist in packing picture frames for shipping, working with CNC machine to trim packaging and polish acrylic panels and blocks. 25% of your time will be operating the Panel Saw under the tutorage of our long term Saw Operator.

What you'll be doing

Safely operating panel saws to cut acrylic and other panel components for picture framing

Assisting with the set-up, maintenance and cleaning of production equipment

Providing support to other production departments with various manual handling and assembly tasks

Maintaining a safe, clean and organised work environment

Following all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the wellbeing of yourself and your colleagues

What we're looking for

Previous experience operating panel saw or similar machinery in a manufacturing or production environment

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy, especially with numbers and measurements.

Good physical fitness and the ability to undertake manual handling tasks

A keen eye for safety and a commitment to following all safety protocols

The ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team

Good communication skills and the willingness to learn and adapt
