About the role

Alushapes is seeking a casual Factory Hand - Packer to join our manufacturing team in Somersby, NSW. As a Factory Hand, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient packing and handling of our aluminium products. This is a hands-on role where you will be an integral part of our production process, supporting the delivery of high-quality products to our valued customers.

What you'll be doing

Carefully packing finished aluminium products using appropriate packing materials and techniques

Carefully packing work-in-progress and finished aluminium products in our Fabrications department

Accurately completing process documentation

Maintaining a clean and organised work environment

Adhering to all health, safety and quality standards

Assisting the production team with general duties as needed

What we're looking for

Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehousing environment, preferably in an assembly or packing role

Good physical fitness and stamina to handle the demands of the role (some non-repetitive heavy lifting required at times)

Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team

Forklift license or willingness to obtain one

Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality

Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately

Prior experience operating machinery or equipment in a production facility will be advantageous
