Tasman has continuous work available across various sites throughout Western Australia (WA) for major clients with long term contracts in place and we are seeking suitably qualified & committed WA based Mechanical Fitters.

As part of the Tasman Rope Access team, you’ll be responsible for supporting shutdown and maintenance activities across major WA sites.

Your work will involve:

Assembling, maintaining and repairing mechanical components and equipment

Interpreting technical drawings to ensure accurate and safe installation

Identifying and troubleshooting mechanical faults

Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard

Working at heights and in confined spaces as required by the job

About you:

WA Based

Experience in the resource sector

Australian recognised Trade Certificate

IRATA (Rope Access) certification

Hold a current Nationally Accredited Working in Confined Spaces and Working at Heights

Hold a current Nationally Accredited OHS Card (White/Blue Card);

Demonstrated experience working on large scale maintenance or small projects preferable

Ability to pass a project specific pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol screen
