Role:

Jones Welding Solutions are recruiting for Mechanical Fitters, that have South 32 Refinery Experience for a short-term contract completing maintenance and shutdown scope with the South 32 team.

We are looking for individuals with refinery and fixed plant experience who thrive on working in team environments and developing collectively.

Role Available:

42hr Continuous Sportsman’s Roster – Dayshifts & Nightshifts

The successful applicant will have:

Valid Driving License

Mechanical Fitter Trade qualification

Working at Heights (within 2 years)

Confined Space (within 2 years)

Construction Induction Card (White or Blue card)

South 32 Worsley Refinery Experience Required

Rigging and Forklift tickets would be beneficial

Ability to pass a pre-employment and site medical testing

Key Responsibilities include:

Interpreting drawings, diagrams and specifications and determining suitable materials and sequence of operations

Checking fabricated and assembled parts for fit and finish, tolerances and accuracy using precision measuring tools

Performing operational and routine maintenance of machines and tools, and diagnosing and repairing faults

Conduct repairs to structures by dismantling, straightening, reshaping and reassembling parts.
