About the role

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this full-time Sales Manager role at Radio Canberra Pty Ltd is responsible for leading and managing the sales team to drive revenue and achieve key business objectives. Based in our Canberra office, you will play a crucial part in the expansion and success of our advertising offerings across the ACT region.

What you'll be doing

Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and customer acquisition targets

Lead, coach and motivate a high-performing sales team to deliver exceptional results

Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging your extensive industry contacts and relationships

Analyse sales data and provide insights to inform business decisions

Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure seamless delivery of client campaigns

Foster a positive, productive sales culture and environment

What we're looking for

Significant experience (5+ years) in a sales management role, ideally within the media or advertising industry

Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing sales teams

Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills

Strong commercial acumen and ability to analyse data to drive informed decision-making

Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to identify and capitalise on new business opportunities
