VitalHub is headquartered in Toronto with over 500 employees globally and its Australian operational facility is based in Adelaide. VitalHub has identified Australia as a potential growth market.

LOCATION:

This is a fully remote role for candidates from both Melbourne, Sydney who are welcome to apply. Candidates from Adelaide are also welcome and would have the opportunity to work in a hybrid model.

THE ROLE:

As Sales Director, you will have responsibility for sales of VitalHub products throughout Australia. You will lead sales effort for the solution portfolio and will work with cross-functional teams to drive market adoption of VitalHub’s best of breed products. You will be part of a team selling and delivering solutions and associated services focused on customer success.

As a core member of VitalHub’s Australian Management Team, you will be responsible for ensuring that the Australian team hit or exceed overall sales targets and individual quotas.

The ideal candidate will have a focus on customer success coupled with the following credentials and capabilities:

· Extensive experience in healthcare, technology, and software, as well as experience developing an embryonic team and building and progressing an evolving pipeline.

· Experience managing complex enterprise level SaaS sales cycles and recognize the importance of, and use, consultative selling.

· An understanding of the healthcare market and business drivers and challenges for all types of health and community care organisations that will be key to your achievement of agreed targets.

· Be an active listener, possess the ability to manage strong discovery calls, and translate prospect requirements into the right solution.

· Excellent listening, written and presentation skills in addition to strong relationship and people skills that are necessary to manage a complex and often lengthy sales process.

· Foster the lasting business relationships VitalHub seeks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Develop and execute sales strategies that drive new bookings and revenue.

· Monitor and report on sales goals, targets, and progress.

· Collaborate with the VitalHub team to deploy new initiatives and improve existing processes.

· Drive maximum market penetration and new business development.

· Monitor market, industry, and competitor activity

· Coordinate sales campaigns & assist with messaging development

· Define and execute the go-to-market strategy for Australia.

· Develop and implement growth strategies to achieve sales targets.

· Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities.

· Engage healthcare leaders to build brand recognition.

STYLE OF OPERATIONAL ACTIVITY:

Sales Execution

· Research and engage target prospects, managing the end-to-end sales cycle from initial outreach to close.

· Monitor and manage RFIs and RFPs, leading and collaborating with bid team members to support successful submissions.

· Maintain and expand a robust sales pipeline through proactive prospecting and relationship-building.

Opportunity Engagement

· Listen actively to qualify opportunities

· Effectively present and communicate the product solution and value proposition to customers.

· Leverage industry and technology knowledge to create solutions that address client pain points.

· Work closely with Professional Services and Client Support teams to ensure seamless onboarding and customer experience.

Collaboration and Leadership

· Provide guidance and leadership to internal sales support resources.

· Coordinate activities and collaborate productively with other departments to execute sales strategies.

· Support conferences and other marketing events to enhance brand visibility and generate leads.

Pipeline Management

· Actively manage the sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasting of opportunities.

· Develop creative approaches to cultivate partnerships within the healthcare industry.

KEY RELATIONSHIPS:

Internal:

Management, Professional Services, Client Success, Clinicians, Marketing, Sales Support

External:

· C-Suite Executives

· Director level executives / managers that are key influencers for C-Suite Executive decision makers

KNOWLDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

· A strong understanding of the commercial aspects of business including revenue recognition and cash flow

· Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with coworkers, clients, prospects, and partners

· Humble and curious approach to learning, demonstrated openness to learning new skills, an ability to learn quickly and willingness to readily ask for assistance

· Intermediate CRM proficiency (Sales Force preferred)

· Experience with Sales & Marketing automation tools to support sales campaigns

· Excellent verbal & written communication skills, as well as engaging presentation abilities

· Entrepreneurial spirit and comfort with unknowns in a start-up environment

· Proven ability to hit and exceed sales quotas

· The ability to present / demonstrate products

· Contract negotiation

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, ATTRIBUTES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

· Bachelor's Degree and/or MBA

· Sales team leadership

· Minimum of 10 years sales experience within a SaaS environment

· 5+ years experience managing the complete sales cycle at the Sales Director (or similar) level focused on enterprise software in healthcare

· Consistent achievement of personal and team quota’s

· Experience with complex software sales cycles

· Persuasive communication, presentation, and people skills, that’s comfortable building rapport both in-person and virtually at the C-Suite and Director level

· Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams

· Technical proficiency using key sales tools including Salesforce CRM, video conferencing tools (Zoom/Teams), MSFT Suite

· Willingness to travel within Australia as needed
