We’re looking for a hands-on, reliable, and motivated individual to take charge of kitchen operations at a new fast-paced food outlet serving modern Indian comfort food in a quick-service format.

This is not just a cooking role — we’re building something from the ground up, and we want someone who’s excited to be part of the journey. You’ll be working alongside the founder during setup and then take over daily kitchen responsibilities fully.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily kitchen operations, including prep, service, and cleanup

Maintain high standards of food quality, consistency, and hygiene

Prepare batch recipes (rice bowls, fillings, chai, snacks) according to standard procedures

Help refine and scale recipes during setup and testing

Ensure efficient storage, rotation, and inventory of ingredients

Assist in training casual kitchen staff and guiding part-timers

Maintain kitchen cleanliness and food safety compliance at all times

Coordinate with suppliers, manage deliveries, and flag low stock

Provide input on workflow, layout, and kitchen improvements

What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience in a café, QSR, or Indian kitchen (preferred but not essential)

Reliable, punctual, and clean in both work and presentation

Can follow systems, maintain prep schedules, and handle basic ordering

Willingness to take ownership — not just clock in and clock out

Calm under pressure with good communication skills

Bonus: experience with chai, Indian fillings, or rice bowls
