VALE Partners have been engaged by a market-leading Australian software company to grow their Brisbane-based engineering team. The business is entering an exciting new phase of growth, focused on modernising its core platform and scaling its customer base.

You'll join a skilled and collaborative team, playing a key role in the evolution of a core application that serves a specialist industry. This is an office-based role where you will work in a tightly knit team to deliver features that have a direct impact on users.

Role Overview

• Design, build, and maintain robust web applications using C# and modern .NET frameworks.
• Write and optimise SQL queries and participate in database schema design and architecture.
• Work closely with engineers, product managers, and QA to deliver reliable and maintainable features.
• Apply software design patterns and best practices to produce efficient, high-quality code while contributing to system architecture discussions.

What You'll Ideally Have

• 2-5 years of hands-on experience in a professional software development role.
• Experience building applications with .NET, ideally with exposure to .NET 6+.
• Confidence working with SQL Server, including writing queries and familiarity with schema design and optimisation.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset and comfort working within a cross-functional, office-based team.
