Role Purpose

We are seeking a Talent Specialist to deliver strategic people, capability, and workforce consulting to Executive and Senior Business Leaders. You will partner with the business to understand their unique challenges and build a high-performing, accountable, and inclusive workforce aligned with organisational priorities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end process for Expressions of Interest (EOIs) and Role Descriptions (RDs) as part of a change management plan
• Run EOIs, update RDs, and map establishment changes within a NSW Government context
• Deliver expert consulting and strategic workforce solutions to support business and inclusive workforce outcomes
• Act as a trusted partner to leaders, translating objectives into talent management initiatives
• Use data-driven insights to support management decision-making
• Lead project planning and delivery with sound management principles
• Resolve complex workforce issues with discretion and empathy
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships aligned with government priorities

Requirements

• NSW Government experience (essential to hit the ground running)
• Experience reviewing role descriptions using the Mercer Framework
• Strong communication, consulting and project management skills
