We are Queensland's first grammar school. Our school caters for boys from Prep to Year 12 through an outstanding education offered to day and boarding students. We have developed innovative approaches to address the specific individual learning and personal development needs of boys.

By tailoring programs and activities to meet our students' specific needs, we ensure every boy has the opportunity to reach his full academic, cultural and social potential. Students are supported by staff from various backgrounds who bring world-class knowledge and experience to our learning environment.
The School is seeking expressions of interest for Primary Teachers interested in or holds existing experience in the Explicit Teaching approach. Full training in adopting the Explicit Teaching approach will be provided to the successful applicant, in addition to ongoing support.
Commencement may be flexible during Term 4, 2025 or for a 2026 start.
The Teacher will be expected to:
Be innovative, highly motivated and organised in the planning and delivery of a primary education curriculum.
Support the strategic educational development of the School.
Represent the School in a professional and considered manner.
Develop and utilise data to inform good practice and appropriate change.
Demonstrate support for the school by regular attendance at school functions and out of school activities, including extra-curricular.
Have a special interest, passion and expertise in the education of boys.
Graduate and early careers teachers are encouraged to apply. Only applicants with current Queensland Teachers College Registration will be considered for this position. Permission to Teach considered should a suitable applicant not be found.
