Brisbane Chinese Language School is the largest community school in Brisbane, with 5 campuses and more than 3000 students. We operate weekend classes, holiday care program, and after school classes.

Position Overview

Teaching lower primary school or early childhood English and Maths class

Preparing teaching materials or use and improve existing teaching material

Marking students' works

3 hours Saturday afternoon 2 PM - 5 PM

Commence immediately

Note: this is not TESOL or teaching new migrants or teaching overseas students. Target students are local English-speaking students.

Remuneration and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive $65 - $95 per hour (depending on experience) for casual teaching, preparing, and marking.

About You

Tertiary qualified in teaching or related field is highly regarded

Min 2 years of full-time teaching experience at Australian primary schools is preferred

Exemplary professional manner, interpersonal, communication and writing skills
