McArthur is looking for experienced, customer-oriented professionals to fill a 3-month temporary role. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for a range of enquiries, process payments, and coordinate requests across multiple service areas.
This temporary, full-time role offers an immediate start for a 3-month period, based in a fantastic location just a short walk from the Dock. The position is offered at a casual rate of $38.08 per hour plus super.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality customer service in a professional and approachable manner
- Manage and update requests and information in internal software systems
- Direct face-to-face or phone enquiries to the appropriate officer or department
- Process payments for services such as rates, permits, and infringement notices, ensuring accuracy in cash handling
- General administration duties including answering phone calls and directing enquiries to relevant officers, and drafting and sending correspondence
Selection Criteria:
- Certificate IV or higher in Front Line Management, Business/Administration, or similar relevant experience
- Excellent communication skills and experience handling high volume enquiries
- Ability to provide high-level customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, financial and database management programs
- Proven ability to work within a team environment, as well as independently

- Registration to Work with Vulnerable People
- Current Drivers License
- Valid National Police Check
