About the role

We are seeking a passionate and customer-focused Front of House - Customer Service professional to join our dynamic team at the Salty Dog Hotel in the beautiful seaside town of Kingston Beach, Tasmania. As a casual Front of House team member, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a warm and welcoming environment for all our guests. This is a great opportunity to work in a vibrant hospitality setting, with flexibility to suit your lifestyle.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and welcoming guests with a friendly and positive attitude

Assisting with seating guests and taking orders in a timely and efficient manner

Providing recommendations on our menu and beverage offerings

Handling cash and card transactions accurately

Maintaining a clean and organised front of house area

Responding to customer queries and resolving any issues in a courteous manner

Supporting the wider venue team as required

What we're looking for

Relevant table service experience in a similar hospitality role

Coffee skills an advantage but not essential

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task

A positive, friendly and professional demeanour

Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
